If any of you guys have heard my song New Every Morning, then you can probably tell what I mean when I say this is, in a way, New Every Morning 2.0. The inspiration for this song, mid-production, was Proverbs 4:18 - The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. While this song has been a while in the making, during and after production, there were times my own life reflected seasons where I definitely felt defeated as a Christian. But this scripture really helped me see that God never stops pushing us to shine brighter and brighter until He comes back. I certainly hope you find encouragement in this song as much as I felt encouraged making it.
